Little Joe’s Farm is a faith based, nonprofit company that can be summarized into 5 main characteristics.

 

Clean Growing

In this day and age there are too many unhealthy ways of growing and pesticides being used in the food we eat each and every day.  At Little Joe’s Farm we practice Aquaponics which means natural nutrients and 100% pesticide free produce.

 

Healthy Eating

Over the last few years we have seen a spike in diabetes, food allergies, cancer and obesity.  Healthy eating is one way to turn those statistics around.  Whether young or old we strive in bringing awareness to the importance of healthy eating.  Like we say “We love to eat what we grow.”

 

Educating and Training

In the last 15 years farming has become a lost art.  We love to educate and train people on how to grow in aquaponics.  Whether you want to build a huge backyard system, a patio system or an indoor aquaponics system, we are here to help.  Aquaponics growing is fun, easy and great for the entire family.  It’s time to take pride in what we grow.

 

Environment

We have to be good stewards of the earth we have been given.  Aquaponics is a healthy way of growing for our environment.  Aquaponics use 95% less water than traditional farming (which helps our aquifer), there is no fertilizer runoff (which helps our ponds, lakes and oceans) and there are no harsh chemicals used (which helps our soil). 

 

Community

Most importantly Little Joe’s Farm believes in community.  Community is needed for everyone and nothing unites us more than food.  At Little Joe’s Farm you will find a community of people who Love God, Love each other and Love eating.
